Face recognition technology can reveal personal traits, research says

One study claims that facial recognition technology can be used to detect or assess one's personal characteristics by analyzing an emotionless selfie.

The researchers developed an artificial neutral network to assess a person's face with 128 different attributes or factors, such as the width of the mouth and the height of the lips, or the shape of the eyes to analyze a person's personality.

It used written data to categorize an individual based on five personal characteristics, including honesty, nervousness, fear of the unknown, behavioral or circumstantial behavior.  Changeable, acceptable and openness or openness was included.

When the volunteers put these questions into the data and compared it, AI came up with an accurate 58% timeline.  Researchers say that these results are more likely to be up to 50% of the time, because the person is less persistent than the face recognition method.

In this research system, more accurate results were obtained from women than from men and the best identification was in terms of honesty.

Twelve thousand volunteers uploaded a total of 31,000 selfies for the study, which was divided into two groups.

Researchers at two Moscow universities, the HSE University (Higher School of Economics) and the Open University for the Humanities and Economics, say that the artificial neutral network beats the average person, leaving no doubt about a person's personality.  The guess was that he didn't know anything about it.  Thus the artificial neutral network was successful.
