Amazon to acquire self-driving startup Zoox for over $1 billion

Ecommerce platform Amazon has agreed to buy self-driving startup Zoox Inc for over $1 billion. The move will expand the reach of Amazon in autonomous-vehicle technology. A majority of Zoox investors are getting their money back, with some making a positive return. The list of investors includes Lux Capital, DFJ and Atlassian co-founder Michael Cannon-Brooks.
