Jio Financial Services and BlackRock partners to enter asset management entry with joint venture “Jio BlackRock”

Reliance Jio Financial Services and BlackRock plan to form a 50-50 joint venture called Jio BlackRock, to offer Indian investors affordable and innovative products enabled by technology. BlackRock will bring its investment management, risk management, and access to technology, while Jio Financial Services, will add its knowledge of the Indian market, digital infrastructure capabilities, and robust execution capabilities. JFS and BlackRock will each invest $150m each in the joint venture, which will start its operations after regulatory approvals are received.
