
The smartwatch industry in India is undergoing a price war, leading to a sharp fall in prices amid rising competition to expand market share. The sub-Rs 3,000 segment has become the fastest-growing and hottest segment in the country, with some popular Indian brands consistently launching new products in this category. Gurgaon-based Noise is leading the pack, holding a 27.6% market share in April-June according to IDC India's latest report. Meanwhile, the average selling price has fallen by almost 45% to $25.6 for smartwatches in India during the June quarter.
