Infosys announces 5-year deal with European telecom company: Order value and other details

Infosys has extended its partnership with Liberty Global with a deal worth €1.5bn ($1.64bn). The collaboration, which includes an option to extend it to eight years, will see Infosys take over the build and operations of Liberty Global's Horizon entertainment and connectivity platforms. Liberty Global is expected to save more than €100m per year with this deal. If the deal goes up to eight years, the contract value will go up to €2.3bn. The Indian company has also won deals with Nordic-based Danske Bank, and global energy giant BP in the last few months.
