The Delhi Directorate of Education (DoE) has banned the usage of mobile phones in private and government schools in Delhi. It has also requested the teachers and staff to avoid using phones in school premises. It has urged all stakeholders connected with education, namely parents, students, teachers, and school heads, to arrive at a consensus regarding the minimum usage of mobile phones in school.
