Saudi Arabia will mandate the adoption of USB Type-C as the universal charging port for all electronic gadgets from January 1, 2025, starting with mobile phones, tablets, and laptops from April 1, 2026. The move is part of an initiative to ensure high-quality charging and data transfer technology, improve the user experience, and reduce electronic waste.
