Google has updated its political content policy to require election advertisers to include a disclaimer for AI-generated content. The disclosure must be clear and conspicuous and placed where it is likely to be noticed by users. Examples of synthetic content that would require a disclaimer include videos that make it seem like a person is saying or doing something they didn't, or altering footage of a real event to depict scenes that didn't actually happen.
