Google is introducing a new feature in Gmail that allows users to react to emails with emojis. The feature is being rolled out gradually on Android, with availability on iOS and web coming in the next few months. Users will be able to select from five default emojis to express their reactions. However, there are certain conditions where emoji reactions won't work, such as when using a third-party email solution or if the message is encrypted. Recipients who don't have a Gmail address may receive an email notification with a link to view the reaction.
